Me...

      I strive to create art with my designs, with a focus on the beauty and strength in femininity for everyone. Fashion design has highlighted the pull that feminine energy has had on my life being raised in a family full of strong, wise women guiding me. My family is one of my biggest inspirations, particularly in my mom and sister. My mom showed us the beauty of art, and showed me how strongly art can make you feel, whether it is a movie, sculpture, book, painting, or play. Any artform can be interpretive, and the emotions it can invoke is reflective of life. Life inspires art, in the same way I strive for my fashion to be inspired by life and storytelling.

      I love to work in an aesthetic that is ethereal and whimsical, and that is also passionate and divine. Recently I find myself inspired by brands such as Viktor & Rolf, Schiaparelli and Miss Sohee. They all make you look closer into their beautiful attention to details. In the future, I hope to continue to grow my skills as a fashion designer and eventually work on a design team with other creative individuals. I love the design process and I enjoy working through problem-solving situations with my peers. I would enjoy bringing my designs and aesthetics and blending that with a company’s history and consumer interests. My dream would be to work for a designer brand or bridal company as a designer.
